Hello everypony! 

In the tradition of pony conventions worldwide, PonyCon Holland will be hosting a cosplay contest!
Cosplayers of all levels are welcome to join, show off their costumes, act and just have fun on stage. You’ll be able to do a simple walk-on, a single act or a group act. To be sure everypony will be able to win one of our many prizes, you’ll be judged on craftsmanship, acting and creativity. So whether your cosplay is store bought or you’ve meticulously hand-sewn every single seam, you’re welcome to join!

You can enter by filling out the entry form online or, for the spontaneous ones, on Saturday morning up to 2 hours before the contest starts, at the info booth. (Just consider that the whole organization process is easier, if we know beforehand, how many amazing cosplays we’ll get to see 😉 )

 All cosplayers will get together with the jury 30 minutes prior to the contest to chat about their costumes and the making-of process and of course to get all the information they need to have a smoothly organized contest. 

Lastly, time to meet the jury: Our two judges are Ms.Cord (https://www.instagram.com/ms.cordcosplay/) and Chiado (https://www.instagram.com/chiadocosplay/), two long term pony and non pony cosplayers from germany. Both had their cosplay debut at Gala Con 2013 and have since then portrayed a variety of their favourite characters. While Ms.Cord is focused a bit more on armour making and Chiado a bit more on sewing, both agree that when it comes to cosplay, having fun is the most important part!
