This year we’re proud to announce our Charity of choice for PCH 2026: the Books Away from Home Foundation.
Twilight Sparkle once said: “Reading is something every pony can enjoy, if they just give it a try.”
Books Away From Home provides refugee children with just that option.
Publishing and distributing colourful books for refugee children in their native language, focused around the culture they had to leave behind.
Something familiar within the new reality they find themselves in, to help build social skills and stimulate their imagination. The Foundation’s motto: “Children deserve books from home, even if they’re far from home."
Their ultimate goal: “To help children, wherever they are, reach their full potential as citizens of the world.”
