Tickets

What payment methods are available?

Our ticket system supports the following payment methods:

Credit Card, PayPal (2% fee), Banktransfer, iDeal | WERO, Bancontact, Giropay, MobilePay, Revolut Pay

Do I need to have my ticket(s) printed with me?

We need to be able to scan the QR-code on your ticket.

So it’s recommended, but not required, to have the ticket printed with you.
As an alternative, you could show the ticket on your smartphone.
Don’t forget to bring your ID, so we can verify your identity.

Can I resell my ticket to someone else?

You can’t do this yourself since tickets are tied to your person. You may ask us to change the booker information on your ticket if you wish to transfer it to someone else. If you wish to do this you may contact us through https://ponyconholland.com/contact/

Can I change the information on my ticket (e.g. incorrect t-shirt size)?
Can I get a refund?

Up to 28 days before the event you can request refund for your ticket, we will however withhold a cancellation fee of €15 if the price of the ticket is below €75, if the price is €75 or above the cancellation fee will be €25. Tickets over €500 are exempt and cannot be refunded.

Do I need to accompany my child?

Children under the age of 12 need to be accompanied by an adult at all times;
Children between the age of 12 and 16 need to be accompanied by an adult, unless a parent has signed a written permission letter;

Do I need to buy a ticket to accompany my child?

Children under the age of 12 don’t require their own ticket, when their legal guardian has a ticket.
Children between the age of 12 and 16 can bring one legal guardian for free, if they have a ticket.

Can I buy a ticket at the door?

This depends on the availability of the tickets.

Keep in mind that tickets will be a bit more expensive when you buy them at the door.

Can I upgrade my ticket to a higher tier?

Yes, please use the contact form on our website to request an upgrade.

Can I add the Friday Eve option to my ticket after purchase?

Yes, please use the contact form on our website to request an upgrade. If you've bought a standard ticket you'll have to upgrade to plus to add the friday eve to your ticket.

Convention

Can I wear cosplay or a fursuit?

Yes, cosplay is permitted and encouraged. We’ll provide a dressing room for fursuiters.

Can I carry cosplay weapons (like wooden swords, water pistols, LARP weapons etc.)?

Please note that The Netherlands has very strict weapon laws. Realistic weapon look-alikes, including realistic looking NERF guns and similar are prohibited. Air-Soft, gas weapons and alike are also strictly forbidden as they are illegal to carry on public events according to Dutch law.

Venue

Can I consume my own food/drinks at the venue?

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring your own food/drinks. Luckily, the venue is equipped with a bar and restaurant.

Can I buy food and drinks at the venue?

Yes, you can. You are unfortunately not allowed to bring your own consumptions, but the people working at the bar/restaurant at the venue will be happy to serve you.

Can I smoke or vape at the venue?

As per Dutch law, smoking (or vaping) inside public places is prohibited. If you stay at the venue’s hotel, you are also not allowed to smoke inside of the rooms. You are allowed to smoke outside of the venue.

Is there an ATM?
Unfortunately, there is no ATM inside of the venue. We recommend you bring enough cash to the venue to buy nice things from our fabulous vendors, or even buy something you love from the Charity Auction. One street down, there are multiple ATM’s, should the cash in your wallet not be sufficient.
Will there be WiFi available?

Yes. The venue will have a dedicated WiFi network for all our attendees. The credentials for that network will be displayed at the infobooth.

Can I park my car at the venue?

Hotel Raffle

Who may receive a raffle ticket?

Any holder of a valid PonyCon Holland weekend entrance ticket who purchases that ticket during the first hour after the ticket store opens. Day tickets and the UltraGigaChad ticket are excluded.

Does the raffle ticket cost anything?

No. You may include the raffle ticket as a free add-on to any ticket that (a) grants access to all event days and (b) does not already include a hotelroom reservation.

What information must I supply when I get a raffle ticket?

You must indicate (i) the highest priced room category you are willing to accept (e.g., Standard, Deluxe, Junior Suite) and (ii) the consecutive days you wish to stay (selectable Thursday Monday) with a minimum stay of two (2) consecutive nights.

Can I increase my odds by purchasing multiple tickets?

This goes against the spirit of the raffle. Every ticket gets a raffle ticket, but if we see you have purchased multiple tickets in your name just to increase your odds of winning a hotel room booking, we will disqualify you.

To clarify, if you and your prospective roommate both get tickets and respective raffle tickets, that is OK and allowed. There is a chance you both win the booking, but you may cancel the second booking.

When will the raffle be performed?

The draw will be performed the very latest 30 days after the start of ticket sales. More likely it will happen in the days after ticket launch. We will try to get it done earlier, but we will have to double check all the winners, and as you might expect the time after ticket launch is one of the busiest times for organizing a convention.

When will I be notified of the result?

All participants will receive an e mail within 14 days after the draw, regardless of whether they have won or not.

What happens after I am selected as a winner?

A reservation is created in DPE’s booking system using the information supplied on your entrance ticket registration. A confirmation e mail (sent to the e mail address linked to your ticket) contains the reservation details, check in/check out times, and any hotel specific instructions.

 

When and how are my personal details shared with the hotel?

DPE shares your reservation data with Hotel Theater Figi. The transfer occurs seven weeks before the start of your stay; after that point DPE is no longer responsible for the reservation.

How can I modify or cancel my reservation?

• Before the reservation is transferred to Hotel Theater Figi (i.e., before the seven week ahead of PonyCon Holland) you may request changes or cancellations via the contact options listed on the PonyCon Holland website.

• After the transfer, all modifications and cancellations must be handled directly with Hotel Theater Figi.

What liability does DPE assume for the hotel stay?

DPE acts solely as an intermediary; it does not own, operate, or manage Hotel Theater Figi and therefore is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience arising from the hotel’s services. All hotel terms and conditions apply (see https://www.figi.nl/en/figi/house-rules).

I want to become a vendor, can I get a raffle ticket?

Yes. You can select your wishes for a hotel booking same as any other attendee along with you getting a vendor ticket. In case you are not accepted as a vendor, we will reach out to you if you still want the hotel reservation.

I want to become a volunteer, can I get a raffle ticket?

Yes. The application to become a volunteer takes longer than the first hour. We recommend you get a regular weekend ticket, where you can get an addon raffle ticket. If you are accepted as a volunteer, we give you the option to have the price of a regular ticket be refunded to you, as per our volunteer agreement.

The draw was performed, but I didn’t get a room. Do you recommend any other hotels nearby?

In fact we do. We will have a bus transfer service between the Figi (the venue) and two other hotels: The Old London and Van Der Valk. Find more about hotel recommendation here <if this is still here, remind Stjonal to put a link to the hotel reccomendation page here\>.

The draw was performed, but I didn’t get a room. Can I ask for a refund for my ticket?

We are sad to hear you won't want to attend PCH without a hotel room at the Figi, even at one of the other recommended hotels. For those who lost the draw, we will allow them to request a refund up to 14 days after the draw was conducted, where we will waive the cancelation fee.

This does not extend to any tickets bought just to increase your odds of winning the raffle. If we figure out you've booked multiple tickets in your name to increase your odds, you will be disqualified from the raffle, and we will not waive any cancelation fees. We have to play fair everypony.

Shuttle Bus

Where can I purchase a shuttle ticket?
Only through the official PonyCon Holland event website. Each purchase generates one non‑transferable ticket.
How can I exchange my shuttle ticket for a wristband?

At a few points will you be able to exchange your ticket for a wristband, giving you access to the shuttle service. Of course you can exchange them at the venue during the convention. We are working with the hotels that you can exchange them there as well, once we come to an agreement there we will inform you all.

Where and how often will the shuttle bus ride?

The shuttle bus will make 4 stops in a loop. Starting close to  the Van der Valk De Bilt-Utrecht it will drive to the Venue. Then it will depart to Fletcher Hotel Restaurant Old London before returning to the Venue. It will then drive the whole tour again.

The exact times and locations are still to be published, but it will ride Friday to Sunday, from before the friday party untill a few hours after the closing of PonyCon Holland on Sunday.

What if there isn’t enough demand for the shuttle service?

If PonyCon Holland determines that insufficient demand for the shuttle service exists (i.e., not enough tickets were sold), we may cancel the entire service. All affected ticket holders will receive a full refund automatically, without needing to submit a separate cancellation request. If that is the case, we will let you know far in advance.
